Apart from a certain corned beef based incident it was awesome fun.

I feel left out, still the 20 minutes or so that I had was entertaining...next time!

Bruce, it was, wasn't it.

btw, I tried to comment on your blog a second ago, and it wants me to login -- so yes, your spam filter is still too much.

Armaniac, I bet you have a beautiful singing voice too... perhaps you'll need to organise a grog blog to suit your schedule.

I'm sorry to say I bailed before the group headed to Charltons. If I was there, though, I can promise you I would have done Eye of the Tiger (Survivor) and My Way (Sinatra, Tiny Tim and plenty of others). Next time, maybe?

I third the awesome fun - I never knew a certain blogger had such a lovely falsetto...

Found it. Has it been fixed now?

That Dawkins fella from The Darkness better look out.

Sign Your Name, haha... A cunningly thought out list Russ.

Erica is right, by the by, you do have a damn purty falsetto.

Ari, next time definitely. We were unsuccessfully trying to sing My Way on the way between venues. An expert would have been handy.

Bruce, yes.

Jon, well you know, "I can't heeelp my-self"

Dr
Still shattered I didn't even know what Corned Beef was.

And what terrific night it was the highlight of course being that stirring rendition of Creep, Russ.

And i'm certainly impressed that you both remembered the name of and then tracked down/linked to my blog, huzzah.

Crumbed
The crumbed fish & chips were a little disappointing, but the fruit crumble with icecream was very yummy!

So do the songs represent the attendees of the Grog blog?

I am not sure whether I would be:
I Wouldn't Normally Do This Kind Of Thing - Pet Shop Boys
Into the Dark - Ben Lee
You Could Have it So Much Better - Franz Ferdinand
She Drives Me Crazy - Fine Young Cannibals

Falsetto...
Try living with that certain falsetto voice...;)

James, thanks, and you're welcome.

Bridgegirl, it is more of a summary of events. The links give as much information as I am willing to give -- for what are probably obvious reasons now.

I must say, it occured to me about 3:30am -- far too late obviously -- that singing in the presence of people who write witty things on the internet as a hobby, may, possibly, have been ill-judged. But, you know, in for a penny, in for a pound.

Between you and Jon, how could I ever hope to write a grog blog recap of my own without feeling the horrible pressure of you guys' awesomeness on my shoulders?! Damn you both, I say!

Bring on the next grog blog!

Footloose
Sorry to have missed the post-festivities...but if I was there I would perhaps have chosen "Footloose" :)

thanks Alex, though I shall be sorely disappointed if you don't post at least a few lies and half-truths to go with our ever-increasing pile.

Bruce appears to be taking the mantel of responsibility on himself for the next time. Do go and suggest things, you know you want to.
